Finesse Wedge - Single Club or Multiple Clubs? ¶

When chipping or pitching around the green, I often hear professionals say something like:
a) land the ball on the green and get it rolling as soon as possible.
b) most amateurs don't think and just automatically grab their most lofted wedge
But then I heard Kevin Na being interviewed about his short game, and he let on that he literally uses his 60 degree wedge for every shot around the green. Does it really have an impact on scoring to primarily use 1 club vs. multiple clubs around the green?

As an amateur, I find it hard to constantly maintain deft touch for 4 different wedges, let alone determine how a golf ball will roll out over 30-50 feet of undulating green with each loft. It always seemed easier to get confident with one wedge. Or is this a hallucination?
