Have you tried the push ball drill? - Tour Validated

It's fun to see a tour pro using some of the drills we promote on the site. I've used this drill for lots of different impact issues. It's a great way to play with timing, bracing, arm extension direction, lead wrist flexion and more.

I find this drill to be most effective when I do the drill, then hit two balls, and then repeat the cycle.

- Any suggestions on how to apply it for driver?

I like your little recipe. Sounds like a very effective session for this drill.

Unfortunately, the push ball is harder to do with the driver. Instead, I'd just have you push up against a yoga block against the wall. Like the door jam drill instead of the push ball drill.

Yes, I've tried it and I do the drill often to confirm that I must be doing something right. And I can complete the drill successfully with a 60 Wedge. From impact position, I push off the lead leg (bracing) away from the target and the arm and club unit activates pushing the ball into the air. Using the arms and/or hands independently doesn't work...for me.
