Shoulder Alignment at Address

I have observed watching professionals live that there is a tendency to be quite open with the shoulders at address. i think this would be a steepening move and require additional swallowing . This tendency to aim left is very common in my observation of live top level pros.
Does your data show this and if so what swing move are required to play with this?
My tendency is the opposite, ie to aim right with closed shoulders and I observe very few top level players with this tendency
I assume this is a shallowing tendency which is offset by other steepening moves .
Do you see these patterns and have any advice for those who tend to be closed at address. In my case this is accompanied by an across the line position.

I think better golfers have a tendency to be overly shallow rather than overly steep. Your observations, setting up a little open, would help balance this out. Unfortunately, my data is set based on the body position at set up, not to a target line. So I can't confirm if more pros set up open or closed. One thing about alignment is that I think you can train it with good feedback. The eyes are one of the faster systems for adapting to changing information. If you search, "upside down glasses" you'll see a number of experiments showing people adapting to glasses that inverted the world.

In golf, usually when you have a tendency like this, it is to help balance things. I'm guessing somewhere in your swing there is a tendency to get steep and this set up helps allow for that core movement. I'd look for that piece if I wanted the alignment issue to go away
