it looks like the pros are stalling their swing at impact, look at the shaft direction ????

The look of the shaft appears to come from the negative couple of the hands. The "bracing" causes the hands to slow down the forward momentum of the handle in order to help speed up the club head. Usually the body is slowing down too, but the torso continues to rotate. During the impact window, the torso is rotating faster than the pelvis or the arms. This feels like a lack of stall, but you're right, the shaft shows us that the handle is not being sped up during impact.
