body stalling at impact.

will my ball strike/contact and direction consistency improve by turning my body more through impact to a more arm extended position? I have practiced for a long time stalling at impact and letting the wrists/arms release. It yields often good results but contact is inconsistent and sometimes a nasty pull hook happens

+Tyler F Thank you so much for the tips Tyler. I will check out the video’s. I really appreciate and enjoy your ability to clearly explain the biomechanics of the golf swing. Understanding the movements on a cognitive level certainly helps me when practicing the new swing motions.
