Throw club from the top—don’t try to create lag

Quick question. I have found the videos very helpful, especially on wedge swing thought of “casting from the top”. I am wondering why not also have this swing thought for full swing? Seems to work very well and prevents getting stuck and coming under plane dragging handle to create lag. Would be similar to some instructors who say throw from the top (Malaska, Parrot, Scheinbum, etc.). As Nicklaus has said you cannot release the club too early. Why not use wedge thought of swing from top with strong turn and pivot body rotation? Seems wipe and trying to create side bend with driver can easily lead to getting stuck and clubhead below plane.
Any thoughts appreciated.
