While you can make a swing change at anytime, it is best to understand that it is going to take a significant number of repetitions before it will be "automatic". In order to put in the number of repetitions, you were going to need to have time and the right environment for training. I think the fall is the best season to have ample access to time and training environment. Watch this video to see why.
