That is excellent!
Are you familiar with TPI’s Eldoa for Golf and if so what do you think of it?
Cheers!

Thanks for the reply Tyler.
Are the stretches you refer to Eldoa stretches and/or are they available in the public domain.
I have found the QLO difficult to stretch and wonder what stretches might be effective.
Thanks

Quadratus lumborum

  By: Mark E on Oct. 8, 2023, 11:10 a.m.

Hi Tyler
I’ve been battling a long-term quadratus lumborum strain on my left side (being right handed.) Golf seems to aggravate it. I realize you can’t provide advice regarding specific injuries however, I am wondering how you see the QL fitting in…

Force on the grip

  By: Mark E on Feb. 1, 2023, 4:43 p.m.

Do you have any thoughts on how one could achieve force on the grip longer as Jason Zuback demonstrates here without getting into an arm pulldown pattern. I was able to increase clubhead speed doing this, but wasn’t sure I could do it without being…

Hip rise in Transition

  By: Mark E on June 3, 2022, 9:53 a.m.

Hi Tyler
Congratulations on your recent wedding!! I have been working on your ideas for a while now. I still have a noticeable rise and slide of the pelvis In transition. This seems to become more pronounced when I am playing and my legs get tired n…

Re: Takeaway and foot slide

Thanks, I think a great topic for a video would be quad dominant versus Glute dominant swing.

Thanks Tyler
I was actually trying to prevent the humerus from rotating and having all rotation below the elbow. Should the humerus rotate? I assume it has to to have the elbow point out. is there any shoulder internal rotation involved?

Very good …

Takeaway and foot slide

  By: Mark E on July 9, 2020, 10:15 p.m.

Hi
I am struggling with my takeaway being very shut and inside. Also frequently my rear foot slides back as is evident in this video. Is this evidence of incorrect ground forces? Any other thoughts on my swing are also welcome.
Thanks

Scapula Movements

  By: Mark E on June 22, 2020, 6:32 p.m.

Hi Tyler
Can you describe your thoughts on the movement of the left and right scapula in the swing? Should the scapulas be retracted at address?
I have seen teachings where both scapula should be retracted at address and during the swing but this se…

Re: Ulnar Deviation impact on Right and left side bend

  By: Mark E on May 26, 2020, 2:23 p.m.

Thanks Tyler
Nice to hear it makes some sense:)
Is there any info on timing of maximum left knee bend?
I think I max out in the backswing and perhaps elite golfers max out post transition? I am straightening the left knee in transition. Part of a ar…

Ulnar Deviation impact on Right and left side bend

  By: Mark E on May 18, 2020, 9:24 a.m.

Hi Tyler
I have always wondered about the best timing for ulnar deviation and most importantly my personal feel to achieve this timing. By personal feel I mean when in the swing should I feel it. It seems like right from the top might be one possi…

Re: Shallow the shaft with rotation?

  By: Mark E on April 20, 2020, 1:29 p.m.

Thanks Tyler
I find this concept vexing as the body rotation shallowing seems to move the hand path out towards the target line and I don’t understand how the clubhead gets to the ball without a late steepening move that seems dramatic to me. Do you…

Re: Picking a Putter

  By: Mark E on April 5, 2020, 12:37 p.m.

This is a great question. I would add the torque free putters like axis 1. These in theory make the most sense to me as you don’t have to apply extra torque to square the face against the Lagging weight of the head .

Re: Analyzing Tour Pro Swings?

  By: Mark E on March 29, 2020, 3:39 p.m.

Hi Tyler
I would like to see Charles Howell iii especially if you can discuss his swing changes.
He used to raise his left shoulder in transition and drop his right. These are moves I have in my swing I learned from a 90s book by Faldo. Still tryin…
