Ball Striker Coin Flip

Ball striker coin flip is a way to add a level of randomness to your practice program. You are going to use your coin to control every aspect of the shot. The three ways to adjust the shot are going to be: high or low, fade or draw, full or partial shot. The advanced version is that each new shot is built on the last one, so if you flip fade three times, then you have to hit successively bigger fades. Playing nine holes on the course is the easiest way to add extra randomness to your practice.

00:00:00,000 --> 00:00:04,000
This game is Ball Striker Coin Flip.

00:00:04,000 --> 00:00:08,000
Ball Striker Coin Flip is a fairly easy game.

00:00:08,000 --> 00:00:11,000
All you need is your spot on the range and a coin.

00:00:11,000 --> 00:00:14,000
You're going to flip a coin to determine what shot you're going to hit.

00:00:14,000 --> 00:00:18,000
Now, you're going to flip it three times.

00:00:18,000 --> 00:00:22,000
So you're going to flip it once for higher low.

00:00:22,000 --> 00:00:25,000
You're going to flip it once for Vader draw.

00:00:25,000 --> 00:00:30,000
And you're going to flip it a third time for full or partial shot.

00:00:30,000 --> 00:00:34,000
Because as you know when you get on the course, sometimes you're going to have partial shots.

00:00:34,000 --> 00:00:37,000
You're not going to be able to take a full swing. It'll be between clubs.

00:00:37,000 --> 00:00:41,000
So you're going to use this flipping a coin as a random to help you determine it.

00:00:41,000 --> 00:00:49,000
Now, the advanced version is let's say I have a high partial fade.

00:00:49,000 --> 00:00:53,000
If I flip high again, I have to hit it higher than my last shot.

00:00:53,000 --> 00:00:56,000
If I hit flip low, I have to hit it lower than the last shot.

00:00:56,000 --> 00:00:58,000
So it just gives you a way to kind of gauge.

00:00:58,000 --> 00:01:02,000
If I have fade and the next shot I get fade again, I have to hit a bigger fade.

00:01:02,000 --> 00:01:05,000
So I'm going to pick a target that allows for that.

00:01:05,000 --> 00:01:11,000
You can either gauge it in terms of you get a one point for doing it right or one point for doing it wrong

00:01:11,000 --> 00:01:13,000
or you can gauge all three.

00:01:13,000 --> 00:01:16,000
Did I take a good partial swing?

00:01:16,000 --> 00:01:19,000
Did I get it to fade? Did I get it to go high?

00:01:20,000 --> 00:01:22,000
I like to play nine holes with this game.

00:01:22,000 --> 00:01:27,000
So that way you can do a driver, a driver off the tee and then an iron into the green.

00:01:27,000 --> 00:01:30,000
And you can mix it up as far as what iron you're hitting.

00:01:30,000 --> 00:01:34,000
If you want to have a few parfives thrown in there, have at it.

00:01:34,000 --> 00:01:40,000
But it's a great game for working on applying a little bit of randomness to your practice

00:01:40,000 --> 00:01:46,000
and seeing what's going to happen when your stocks full swing gets put under the gun of having to shape shots.
