Isolated Ulnar Deviation

In this video, we look at how ulnar deviation is a key piece of the release. It typically starts to happen around shaft parallel to the ground in the downswing and finishes at follow through position. This uncocking of the wrists shallows out the path of the club and opens the face, and makes it easier for the arms to naturally rotate through impact. If you are struggling with getting width in the follow through and keeping those arms extending through the shot, this may be a missing peice for you. Just know that if you do this and the ball goes off to the right, then it let's you know that you are using rehinging to close the face, and have to add more motorcycle or shaft rotation instead.
