Re: How I prefer to train with the impact snap

as you know I use it the same way. i would add that for those who haven't purchased one yet and want to, i believe that they now make one with a club head attached. Bet Kelvin is sorry he sold the rights to it rather than merely licensing usage. …

Hi-
I'd be interested in what Tyler says. My thoughts are as follows. You have a lot of upper body lunge in your second video side view. See pictures captured below. you also have your hands way behind your trail hip at delivery position. And wa…

Garrett--
I'd really like to be helpful, but the truth is that what I see is a guy hitting golf balls from his lawn into the ocean; I can't feel bad about whatever your release issues may be. If you get to live by the ocean and hit golf balls into…

Re: Help would be greatly appreciated! Slices galore inside.

I second Tyler's suggestions, but for long term sustained improvement I would add one more thing. I was particularly interested in looking at your transition as well as your shoulders at the top of the backswing.

With a driver you're not going t…

As always, very helpful. I think the distinction you draw between how to do and how to monitor. I always thought of the motorcycle as a 'how to do' not a monitor what you are doing. And George is as I watched him teach someone who is emp…

Thanks Andrew -- I shot my age each of the last three years! I guess it gets easier the older you get. I hope to be playing into my mid 80s whether or not I am alive then :-)

Excellent Tyler, but let me make two comments and wait for reaction.
George (who I've watched teach once for two hours and who is excellent with his clients) in fact stresses getting the face right first
and Tyler (with whom I've taken more than two…

Thank you for your kind comments. Your position immediately post impact is picture book quality. I'd be surprised were you not one hell of a golfer.
Regarding Andrew's swing, my thoughts are pretty simple. In transition if you flatten th…

see how open the clubface is in the iron shot. notice as a consequence your legs are not rotating. they are not far different than they are at p5 left arm parallel which is a great position: arm across your body and your knees are just ab…

I think you have a wonderful golf swing. There are so many strong aspects of it; the backswing, the transition; the sequencing. anyone should be able to play great golf with that swing. That said there are two (I think connected) parts …

You are more than welcome. This has been a great way for some of us who are coaches in the Golf Smart Academy to meet and (with luck) help the membership who have the good fortune of working with Tyler.

yeah; and notice the difference in the right shoulder; and that Mac really gets his torso closer to the ground then pushes up into impact which allows him to keep right elbow bent at impact so arms don't extend until later than mine

Sorry to add more, but I thought you might want to see the screen shot below of me and more importantly, Mac O'Grady, hitting somewhat simultaneously. Focus on his look at roughly the same point post impact. Different camera angles, but still inst…

Wow-- there's a lot to like in this swing. More important (IMHO) than what you describe as the left arm breakdown post impact is captured by the picture below. What's perfect is that at this point is that you have the butt of the club pointed at y…
