Re: Vectors for ulnar deviation

  By: David M on July 8, 2024, 2:04 p.m.

I've watched the above videos several times and they are good. As for myself, I think of the transition as my back to an imaginary wall sliding the back of the club down its face, verticle. All well and good. Do I think of the rest of the swing …

Vectors for ulnar deviation

  By: David M on July 3, 2024, 8:37 a.m.

In an older video, you gave instructions to an African-American student showing the faults of attempting to swing down the target line and thus stalling the shoulder turn. You pointed in a 90-degree direction away from the target line and then a sh…

Your thoughts on the spine axis and most notably staying in flexion too long with the rib cage are interesting. I'll play around with these and see what happens. Thanks for your time and input. Dave

That's good. You mentioned the pinkie of the left hand very briefly. Is there a significance? I find that in the motorcycle move I have considerable tension in the left hand grip both from underneath [fingers] and on top [palm]. Ideally should th…

How do the eyes influence the swing?

  By: David M on Feb. 24, 2020, 9:46 a.m.

I'll try to be brief. I've noticed while chipping, my contact was a little heavy. In experimenting, I advanced my gaze in front of the ball with a noticeable improvement in contact with the ball. My focus [gaze] in front of the ball was 6 inches o…
