Finesse wedge cast/flip the handle

What is the maximum distance/length of swing that the flip the handle feel should be used for a wedge shot?

Awesome thank you both! I did some single leg and pump drills today to get a feel for using the ground more. Am I headed in the right direction?
Left leg straight too early

I have a tendency to have my left leg completely straightened by about P5.5-6 and then it buckles after impact. Is there a typical cause for this and any suggestions for drills to help? Thanks!
(Any other General input is also welcome)
