At what point in the golf swing is the clubhead traveling the fastest?

I just watched the video on Alpha Torque. If I understood the video correctly, I can't help but wonder if the 9 o'clock position in the downswing is where the clubhead is traveling the fastest?

I would think 3D could pick this up, but a simple Internet search didn't turn up anything convincing.

+Ed C The clubhead speed is almost always fastest at impact for professionals. It can peak a little sooner for ams with a cast pattern, but it's usually acceleration that changes, not speed.
Attached is a typical pro speed profile.

+Tyler F Thanks for clearing that up with a graph.

Out of curiosity, if there were no ball & tee, would you expect to see peak speed occur just past the point of where impact would normally be?

+Ed C I'm guessing it would be just past impact instead of at impact.

Impact with the ball in a “normal” swing is the first point of resistance so the club head actually slows down through impact and just after.

His question as "if there were no ball or tee" so no resistance, then where would be maximum speed. I haven't seen any research on this, but my guess is that it would be when all the joint segments have maxed out, i.e. maximum arc width. At least that's my guess.
