Kwon’s reverse pivot posture? ¶

I watch Dr. Kwon’s reprogramming sessions on YouTube. One of the things he teaches the golfers to do in session is what he calls a “reverse pivot posture” at the top of swing.
Is this a good, advisable position to be in? If so, what are some good drills to get in that position? If not, what is a better alternative position to work on?
One thing I did to strain my lower right (trail) side back/side area is to do some kind of right side crunch on the downswing when trying to do Kwon’s swing motion. Not sure why I’m doing that but when I am able to use the body to just turn around for the downswing, I avoid the crunching.
